We can’t wait to see you all.

Including yourself. This is the number we give the caterer.
Dinner will be served in a buffet style format with various options. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please let us know.

Thank you.

We have your reply.

The Schedule

Saturday,
September 26

Dress code

Cocktail attire

Suits, cocktail dresses, whatever makes you feel like the best-dressed person at a Brooklyn dinner party. The ceremony is in the garden and the night ends indoors. Late September runs cool after dark, so bring a layer worth being photographed in.

The After-Party

We close the doors at 11. After that: a spontaneous, to-be-determined NYC after-party for anyone still standing. If you’re in, plan accordingly.

One autumn evening.One Brooklyn brownstone.One harvest moon.Two lovebirds.One lifetime.

Getting There

Everything
in one place

The venue

Maison May

246 DeKalb Avenue
Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Open in Google Maps
By train or bus
The G stops at Clinton-Washington Avs, a short walk from the door. The C stops at Lafayette Av. Coming from further out, nearly every line plus the LIRR runs to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, about a fifteen-minute walk through Fort Greene.
Transit directions
By rideshare or cab
Don’t drive yourself. Street parking in Fort Greene on a Saturday night is a myth, and a rideshare drops you at the front steps. If you insist on driving, book a nearby garage ahead of time with SpotHero or ParkWhiz.

Give yourself more time than you think you need. Travel in and around New York City is chaotic at best. Please allow extra time getting into the city, to and from the airport, to and from your hotel, and especially to and from the venue, so you don’t miss any of the festivities.

Where to Stay

Book anywhere.
Start here.

We’re not holding a room block, so stay wherever suits you. There are a thousand hotels in this city. These are four we’d actually vouch for, all a short ride from the venue.

NU Hotel on Smith Street The lobby at NU Hotel A room at NU Hotel

The boutique

NU Hotel

Boerum Hill. Smith Street, surrounded by the restaurants we actually go to.

A note on Airbnb. Short-term rentals are technically restricted in New York City and bookings can be cancelled on short notice. If you go this route, have a backup in mind.

Registry

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for…

but for those who have kindly asked, we’ve created the two funds below to contribute to our future together.

One more thing. A card means just as much. No boxes to ship, no toasters to open.

Our Story

Two boroughs.Two cats.One love story.

Caitlin and Ryan

The minute I heard my first love story
I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.

Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere.
They’re in each other all along.

FAQ

All the small things

Who’s invited?

We’re keeping this one small on purpose. Your invitation is addressed to everyone in your party, and we can’t wait to celebrate with exactly you.

Are kids invited?

A couple of very special small people made the list. Otherwise, consider it a night off.

Can I take photos?

The ceremony is unplugged. Our photographer will catch everything, and we’d rather see your faces than your phones. After that: we’re leaving film cameras around all night, including a vintage 8mm-style movie camera. Pick one up and shoot away. Grainy, imperfect, and exactly how we want to remember it.

Is there anything else happening that weekend?

This is the whole show: the wedding, then the after-party. Book your flights around Saturday night and you’re covered.

When should I RSVP?

By August 28, please, right here on this site.
